Andy Woodhull has appeared on *The Late Late Show with James Corden*, *Conan*, *Live at Gotham,* and *The Half Hour* on Comedy Central. He was the first comedian to make his network television debut on *The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon*. His Dry Bar Comedy special has over 12 million views on YouTube, and all six of his comedy albums are in rotation on Sirius Satellite Radio, and his jokes have played over 50 million times on Pandora.

Andy worked as a writer on SYFY's *The Movie Show* and was featured in two episodes. He just finished taping a hosting gig on the CW unscripted series *TOTALLY FUNNY ANIMALS* that began airing in February 2024. He also recently started a podcast called "Backyard Hang" with Tommy Johnagin and Alex Stone.

Andy lives in Los Angeles with his dog, Darwin.

**Claybourne Elder** is a Grammy, Screen Actors Guild Award, Drama Desk, and Lucille Lortel nominee. He currently plays John Adams on HBO's hit series *The Gilded Age* and was most recently seen on Broadway in the Tony Award® winning revival of *Company* starring Patti Lupone. He is known for his performances on Broadway in *Bonnie and Clyde, Sunday in the Park with George*, *Torch Song,* and *Sondheim on Sondheim* at the Hollywood Bowl.

He began his career originating the role of Hollis in Sondheim's *Road Show*, he also originated the role of Ollie in Tennessee William's *One Arm*. Other credits include: *Do I Hear A Waltz?* at City Center, *Allegro* at Classic Stage, *Two by Two* (Starring Jason Alexander), *Venice* at the Public Theatre, Georgio in *Passion*, Tony in *West Side Story*, Joe in *Angels in America,* Curly in *Oklahoma*, Wolf/Cinderella's Prince in *Into the Woods*, and Gaston in *Beauty and the Beast.* He also played Pete O'Malley in the CW's *The Carrie Diaries* and can be seen in the Hallmark Original, *Deck the Walls*. His solo show has played to sold-out crowds across the country and in London. He has been a soloist at Carnegie Hall, LA Philharmonic, American Pops Orchestra, and Utah Symphony. Recently, he launched an initiative called City of Strangers to provide free tickets to Broadway shows for people who might not have the means. **Rodney Bush** is a composer, songwriter, and music director. He has worked for HBO as a composer and music editor and is the keyboardist, co-songwriter, and one of the founding members of the glam rock band Tony & The Kiki. Select composition credits include *Stoker*, *Leaves: Songs of Ourselves, Around the World in 80 Days* (world premiere, Theatre Raleigh), *perhaps you forgot, Project Adjective Vol 1 & 2*, *Wholly Chill, LeFay, Involuntary Memory*, and *Any Exit*. Select songwriting collaborations include valleygirl, Zeniba Now, Jay Adana, Brad Gibson, and anatu. He has been a music director and conductor on over fifty productions nationally and internationally of musicals and operas, both canonical and in development. He has served as the music director for many Broadway talents, including Eden Espinosa, Adam Kantor, Zeniba Now, Carmen Cusack, Eva Noblezada, and Nick Adams.

**New Jazz Underground**, an American trio, has been described as “an innovative and ultra-creative collective striving to establish themselves as a defining voice for the genre of Jazz and beyond.” Their music signals a merging of traditional sensibilities in Jazz with the modern influence of swing, hip-hop, house/Afrobeat, and Afro-cuban music. Listeners were introduced to the trio’s undeniably fresh sound through viral videos of the band performing in their living room. Millions viewed videos such as: “they can hate but we still swingin’,” “f\*\*k/s\*\*t/c\*\*t/jazz,” “sad boy jazz,” as well as many others featuring the band's exuberant chemistry, effortless musicality, and raw ambition in sound.

**Abdias Armenteros** (Saxophonist/Composer, 25), **Sebastian Rios** (Bassist/Composer, 27), and **TJ Reddick** (Drummer, 25) have each been lauded as some of Jazz's most promising young artists in their own right. After meeting while they were students at The Juilliard School, the trio began playing in the parks of NYC during lockdown in 2020. They shortly began posting to their YouTube channel, that has since grown to over 85k+ subscribers. Releases such as “MF Doom Suite,” “Harlem to Havana,” and “cook/swing/work/relax” fully demonstrate the trio's reverence towards Jazz's icons, yet still contend in a vision to establish their own voice in the expression of new sounds that transcend genre lines.

New Jazz Underground is the 2023 DCJazzPrix™ Winner. Rios is a 2024 ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award Winner. Both Reddick (BM’ 20) and Armenteros (MM’ 22) are Juillard School Graduates. Armenteros is the youngest member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. Reddick and Rios have played as sidemen for the likes of Jon Batiste, Sullivan Fortner, Emmet Cohen, and ELEW, among many more. Rios is a long-time student of the legendary bassist, Ron Carter.

The trio not only performs but boasts their composition and production skills across a variety of mediums. Rios was a featured composer for the 2019 “New Dances,” the first-ever collaboration between the Jazz and Dance divisions at The Juilliard School. He was also commissioned by Jazz at Lincoln Center to write a Suite to be performed by the trio at the 2023 Caramoor Jazz Fest. Rios’ compositions for the collective bring forth each member’s sound in a way that transcends the sum of their individual efforts. These gestures of collective musical identity are made real through the vehicle of composition tailored to each member’s unbridled talent, inspiring skill set, and transformative emotion.

Creating a new standard for Jazz presentation through their online videos, New Jazz Underground has blazed a path for young Jazz musicians in the modern music landscape. Each video is produced independently; all video and music production are done in-house. Their videos attract millions of music fans through their seemingly clickbait presentation. However, when audiences click, they are met with an authentic musical expression steeped in both modernism and tradition that provides a soulful perspective to a deeper world of music. Listeners who wouldn’t normally enjoy Jazz are brought into the music creatively through young artists who are dedicating their lives to its legacy and promise of new creative paths.

NJU has a keen interest in helping students, not much younger than themselves, to develop a deeper understanding of Jazz music and the elements surrounding the creative process. Armenteros, Rios, and Reddick each have their own student studios as well as years of experience teaching students from middle school through college in topics such as Jazz history, theory, and application. Rios developed the program, “Creative Video in Modern Music,” to teach intermediate to advanced Jazz students to produce their own music and have a better understanding of the modern media landscape.

Dynamic and powerful performers, New Jazz Underground possesses far-reaching talents that are re-energizing the contemporary music world from the inside out. They dedicate themselves to the music continually and serve as a burgeoning benchmark for the future of Jazz to come.

**MIRIAM DALY** *(Tour Music Direction)* is a composer/music director based in Brooklyn, NY who has music directed many TheaterWorksUSA shows including *Cat Kid Comic Club;* *Dog Man;* *Pete The Cat*; *Pete's Hollywood Adventures;* *Click Clack Moo*; *Curious George*; *Henry and Mudge*; *Junie B. Jones*; *A Christmas Carol*; *Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel*; *Fly Guy;* and the movie musical: *We The People*. As a composer, she was a 2007 recipient of NYC's The York Theatre's "New Emerging Outstanding Artist" award for her work. **BRYCE ALEX ANDERSON** *(Head Audio/ Head Carpenter)* With over ten years of hands-on experience in audio, video, and lighting for live productions, Bryce brings energy and precision to every show. Starting at the Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts, Bryce has led AV teams for IATSE 720, the Jim Henson Company's Fraggle Rock tour, Cirque du Soleil, and Broadway-level productions. Bryce enjoys crafting immersive experiences that genuinely engage audiences. Growing up on the Historic West Side of Las Vegas and being part of a Deaf theater community has given Bryce a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and the power of communication!  

**LANA KATHRYN** *(Head Electrician)* is thrilled to be headed out on the road again with the tour of *Dog Man: The Musical!* She graduated in May 2024 with a B.S. in Theatre & Dance, concentration in technical theatre, from Lamar University. Most recently, Lana has worked as the head electrician/video for the national tour of *Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Musical.* As well as the assistant lighting designer for The Ohio Light Opera's 2024 & 2025 season. After completing her time on *Dog Man,* Lana's next adventure will be head electrician for the tour of *Clue! Live on Stage.*

A spring song from the Poltava region in central Ukraine—with these songs, in ancient times, girls tried to invoke Spring and awaken nature. But they also have lyrical plots, as in this song, where a woman with two children waits for her husband for a long time.  
 
**Oi, lisu, lisu + Oi, perepelychko + Rano-rano / O Forest + O Little Quail + Bright and Early**\
A medley of three songs begins with a Spring invocation (O Forest) and moves to O Little Quail (another version of I am a Little Birdy, popular in the 18th century).  Bright and Early is a relic of pre-Christian cosmology and ritual—“Seeing off the Rusalky” whose timing is now linked to the Christian calendar. The week before Pentecost or “Trinity”—the spirits of departed kin temporarily cross the veil between worlds. Locals still honor them with reverence: setting tables, offering food, singing to appease, and finally escorting them ritually into the deep forest—a symbolic return to the other world. It’s a sacred act of balance: welcoming the dead, then gently sending them back, so the living may thrive undisturbed, and cosmic order restored.  
 
**Zberimosia Rode / Let’s Get Together, Kindred**\
Feast song from Podlachia borderland region about unity and the value of going through even the most difficult moments in life together. 
 
**Chevrona Kalyna / Red Guelder Rose**\
This military recruit song from Podillia region describes the burden of a wife whose husband goes off to war. Not only she, but all young girls, families, and entire villages are crying for their loved ones.

(Lviv, Ukraine)

*Songs of the Ukrainian Forest* is a conversation between two actress-singers, longtime colleagues and friends Natalia Rybka-Parkhomenko and Maria Oneshchak. The program took shape in the spring of 2020 during the global pandemic quarantine in one of the forests of Lviv region in western Ukraine, where the two women and their families took refuge together.

Since Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Mariia and Nataliia have performed versions of the work in Ukraine and in Europe as a duo, self-accompanied with hand percussion, Tibetan cymbals and bells, and a shruti box—a small Indian harmonium. With these performances in the U.S., Kurbasy is realizing the opportunity to fully produce this work visually and musically. 

The program begins with Spring Songs—calls to awaken and renew life after the long winter—and includes ballads and love songs from Polissia, Bukovina, Poltava, Podillia, and Central Ukraine. Traditional recruit songs are sung, which highlight the war time situation in Ukraine today.

**Kurbasy** is a contemporary musical project of the renowned progressive Les Kurbas Theatre in Lviv, Ukraine. Founded in 2008 as an informal vocal gathering of singer-actresses, the group has performed across Europe—from the front lines of occupied Eastern Ukraine to concert halls in Western Europe and in the U.S.  
 
The idea of culture as a cosmic living organism is central to Kurbasy, whose folk-based multimedia performances conjure the natural world, beliefs, and rituals. The theatrical foundation of the group is central to Kurbasy's aesthetic. The music they perform is tied to, celebrates, and renews the rituals and the lived memories of Ukraine and her people. 
 
Led by actor-vocalists Mariia Oneshchak and Nataliia Rybka-Parkhomenko, Kurbasy’s performances trace a theatrical arc to reveal the stories held in the songs of their rich repertoire, a collection of which can be heard on ‘Raytse’ a title that references both paradise and the mythical egg at the origins of the universe, released in 2009. Songs from the calendar cycle, Kupala [St. John’s Day/Midsummers] and wedding ritual singing form the core of their second album, ‘Miracle of Creation,’ released in 2018. Many of the Winter songs from Kurbasy’s ‘Rozkolyada’ (2021), aside from describing biblical and archaic Carpathian Christmas tales, are also rich in early slavonic mythopoetic symbols and animalistic ritual images.

**National and Regional Ukraine**
  
Ukraine sits at the heart of Europe, bordered to the southwest by Moldova and Romania, to the west by Slovakia and Poland, to the northwest by Belarus and to the northeast and east by Russia. Ukraine’s diverse geography—from the densely wooded Carpathian Mountains to the Dnipro River basin and seaside of Odessa have informed the many and different rites, practices and traditions that together form Ukrainian culture.

**Polissia**—Ukraine’s most archaic cultural region. Sheltered by dense forests and vast marshlands, and historically insulated from major geopolitical upheavals, Polissia has preserved archaic songs, rituals and cosmological beliefs dating back to Kyivan Rus’ and even pre-Christian times. Remarkably, recent genetic studies pinpoint this borderland between Ukraine and Belarus as the cradle of the distinct Slavic genotype—where, millennia ago, Slavic DNA diverged from Baltic lineages, seeding the entire future Slavic gene pool. 
 
**Bukovina**—a cultural crossroads historically divided between Romania, Ukraine, and Austria-Hungary, whose legacy still lingers in architecture, law and layered identities. Nestled in the Carpathians, its culture bursts with chromatic intensity—embroidered sleeves like woven rainbows, wooden churches piercing misty ridges and music so intricate it feels like alchemy. Bukovina was and remains a region of striking diversity. Its vibrant highland culture features some of Ukraine’s most ornate folk dress and complex instrumental music. Rooted in ancient Carpathian Slavic traditions, the local sound absorbed strong Ottoman and Balkan influences—heard in asymmetric rhythms, modal scales, and instruments like the cimbalom and trembita. Despite shifting borders and empires, Bukovina’s musical heritage endures as a unique fusion—archaic, layered and unmistakably its own. 
 
**Poltava**—oblast (region) is situated in central Ukraine on the left bank of the Dnipro. Historically and culturally part of the Cossack Hetmanate, the region is agriculturally significant and a center of Ukraine's oil and natural gas industry. Poltava is the beating heart of Cossack spirit and the cradle of Ukrainian identity along the river Dnipro's banks. Here, where steppes meet rolling hills, the legacy of the Zaporozhian Host lives in speech, songs and stubborn pride. Refined by luminaries like Ivan Kotliarevsky and later Taras Shevchenko, who wove its rhythms into the nation’s poetic canon, the Poltava dialect, with its melodic intonations and archaic lexical treasures, became the bedrock of modern Ukrainian literary language. 
 
**Podillia**—the sun-drenched southern heartland of Ukraine, is a cultural borderland where Ukrainian traditions blend with strong Moldovan and Bulgarian influences—legacies of migration, trade and imperial border shifts. Known for its vibrant folk embroidery, archaic singing and earthy, rhythm-driven instrumental music, Podillia absorbed Balkan melodic turns, Romanian dance motifs, and even Bulgarian vocal harmonies—especially in villages settled by 19th-century Bulgarian migrants. Unique rituals like “vesnianky” (spring songs) and “kupalo” fire-jumping survives here with a distinct local flavor. Architecture, cuisine, and dialects also reflect this mosaic: clay houses with carved eaves, spicy stews with Balkan flair and linguistic borrowings that color everyday speech.  
 
**Central Ukraine**—flanking the left and right banks of the Dnipro River and its basin, consists of several provinces (including Poltava) and its cities are among the oldest in the country. Extensive grain and sunflower fields are found throughout the area. Regarded as the nation’s geographic heartland, it holds a resonant archive of polyphonic resistance. Here, the ancient tradition of “chant” singing—rich, layered polyphony echoing Renaissance Europe—survived centuries of imperial erasure, smuggled through generations in village choirs, harvest songs and whispered lullabies. Though the Russian Empire sought to silence it—today, from village porches to global stages, this multi-voiced legacy pulses on: not as museum artifact, but as living proof that authentic voice, like freedom, cannot be fully suppressed—only postponed, then powerfully reclaimed. 

**Lemki** are a distinct Carpathian highland ethnic group of Rusyn/Ukrainian origin—inhabiting Lemkivshchyna, a cultural and historic region that geographically spans the Carpathian Mountains and foothills of western Ukraine, east and north through Slovakia, and Poland. Sharing a rich culture and language across political borders through time, Lemko culture closely holds centuries-old traditions of song, dance, dress, rituals and unique architecture which are revived and celebrated now throughout Ukraine. Tragically, Lemki became victims of forced resettlement: first by Nazi Germany, then by postwar communist Poland in “Operation Vistula” (1947), which scattered them across western Poland to erase their identity. Many fled or later emigrated—especially to the U.S. and Canada—where vibrant diaspora communities preserved their language, songs and churches. Today, their culture survives as a testament to resilience: reviving on native soil and echoing still in exile.

## **2025 U.S. Tour**

Kurbasy is traveling the U.S. as part of Center Stage, a cultural diplomacy program that also produced the group in 2018. The seven-week tour features residencies in 11 communities: Bethlehem, State College and Lewisburg PA, New York City NY, Chicago IL, East Lansing MI, Berkeley and Rohnert Park CA, Salt Lake City UT, Albuquerque and Santa Fe NM, and Tucson AZ.  
 
Since 2012, Center Stage has produced national tours by 48 groups from 17 countries, hosted by colleges and universities, festivals, music clubs, and cultural centers. Center Stage ensembles reach large cities and small towns. They engage with communities onstage, offstage, and online through performances, workshops, and discussions, artist-to-artist exchanges, master classes, and community gatherings, and return home to share these experiences with peers and fans. For this last edition of the program, Center Stage has invited alumni groups to return and share their work in communities from coast to coast. These are Khumariyaan (Pakistan), Papermoon Puppet Theatre (Indonesia), Mohamed Abozekry (Egypt & France), and Kurbasy (Ukraine). Visit centerstageus.org for more information.

**ANGELA LANSBURY** (*Voice of the Prologue Narrator*) enjoyed a career spanning almost 75 years in film, stage and television. Winner of five Tony Awards®, her Broadway credits include *Hotel Paradiso* (1957), *A Taste of Honey* (1960), *Anyone Can Whistle* (1964), *Mame* (1966, Tony Award®), *Dear World* (1968, Tony Award®), *Gypsy* (1974, Tony Award®), *Sweeney Todd* (1979, Tony Award®), *Deuce* (2007), *Blithe Spirit* (2009, Tony Award®), *A Little Night Music* (2010) and *The Best Man* (2012). She appeared in over 60 motion pictures including *Gaslight* (Academy Award Nomination), *National Velvet*, *The Harvey Girls*, *State of the Union*, *The Portrait of Dorian Gray* (Academy Award® Nomination), *Samson and Delilah*, *The Court Jester*, *The Long Hot Summer*, *The Manchurian Candidate* (Academy Award Nomination), *The World of Henry Orient* and *Death on the Nile*. In 1991 she was the voice of Mrs. Potts in Disney's animated feature, *Beauty and the Beast*. From 1984-1996 she made television history starring as Jessica Fletcher on "Murder, She Wrote," the longest-running detective drama series in TV history, winning four of her six Golden Globe Awards. In 2013 she was awarded an Oscar for Lifetime Achievement in Motion Pictures. She was named a Dame of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II. Lansbury passed away peacefully on October 11, 2022, just five days shy of her 97th birthday.

# **Thomas Mapfumo and The Blacks Unlimited**

Hailed as “The Lion of Zimbabwe,” Thomas Mapfumo is a musical visionary, fearless social critic, and one of the greatest African bandleaders of the past century.

Dr. Thomas Mapfumo was born in 1945 in Marondera, a small town south of Rhodesia's capital, Salisbury (now Harare). He spent his early years living with his grandparents in the countryside, away from the growing tensions of the cities. He developed a passion for traditional music and instruments like ngoma, hosho, and mbira, learning from his musically inclined grandparents. 

At the age of ten, he moved to Mbare, a poor black township in Salisbury, with his parents. Mbare was a center of protest against the colonial regime at the time. Here, Mapfumo discovered the radio and fell in love with international music from various famous artists. 

In high school, Mapfumo joined his first band, the Zutu Brothers, where he imitated American and English musicians. Later, he formed the Hallelujah Chicken Run Band, delving into traditional folk music. He incorporated these influences into his Afrorock performances, singing in Shona and addressing political themes due to the ongoing war, creating the Chimurenga music genre. 

Chimurenga music was built on the struggle of black Rhodesians and the country’s traditional music. It was a sound that gave the natives an identity and a voice during a time when they didn’t seem to have a voice.

Mapfumo's career progressed as he worked with different bands like the Acid Band and the Blacks Unlimited. It was with the latter that he popularized Chimurenga music by refining his unique sound, blending mbira with pop and incorporating poignant lyrics about the struggles of black Rhodesians.

Rhodesia’s white minority government saw Mapfumo’s music as a threat and banned it from the state-controlled radio stations. His music was still heard, however, in discos and on radio broadcasts that originated in neighboring countries. In late 1977, with the escalation of the liberation war, security forces finally attempted to silence Mapfumo by imprisoning him for 90 days. Upon his release, he returned to writing and singing his Chimurenga songs, which had come to be identified with the fight for freedom.

After Zimbabwe gained independence in 1980, Mapfumo's music continued to evolve. He gained international recognition and released notable albums in the late 1980s and 1990s. His songs tackled various societal issues, including alcoholism, AIDS, and domestic violence.

As the political climate shifted in Zimbabwe, Mapfumo's music became increasingly critical of the government. He faced censorship and threats, leading him to move his family to the USA in 2000 for safety. Despite his exile, he remained committed to creating and performing music that challenged the status quo.

In 2018, after 14 years, Mapfumo returned to Zimbabwe for a concert, citing positive political changes. However, he hasn't returned since 2019 due to concerns about the ruling regime. Throughout his career, Mapfumo has been a resilient voice, using his music to express social and political dissent.

2001: Received an Honorary Doctorate in music from Ohio University at Athens and won AFIM’s Best World Contemporary CD Award in March 2001 (“Chimurenga Explosion”).

2004: Award for first world music artist to go digital with a download-only release, “Rise Up,” later released in CD form by Peter Gabriel’s Real World label.”

2006: Featured in an interview with Phil Meadley of the Guardian in London, England.

2008: Interviewed with George Negus of the SBS Dateline in Australia.

2009: Interviewed with Jon Kertzer of the National Public Radio.

2012: Performed at Carnegie Hall in Manhattan, New York, and was featured in NPR’s Musicians Who Paid the Price Before Pussy Riot.

2015: Keynote speaker at Metro State University of Denver-Black World Month.

2018: Returned to Zimbabwe after 14 years of living in exile and won the World Music Award at Global Fest Awards.

2023: Chimurenga music, a term coined by Mapfumo, was added as a music category for the Grammy Awards.

AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER IN CONCERT PRESENTS

**Jeremy Zuckerman**\
Jeremy Zuckerman is an Emmy Award-winning composer and musician whose diverse body of work includes music for film, television and dance, traditional Chinese music, sonic art, and concert music. Jeremy is best known for composing the music for the globally beloved Nickelodeon series *Avatar: the Last Airbender* and *The Legend of Korra*. His unique scores have earned numerous accolades including two Emmy Award wins and several nominations. Upon the 2013 release of *The Legend of Korra* soundtrack (via the Sony Legacy label) it immediately hit #1 on Amazon Music, and quickly landed in the top 10 on both the iTunes and the Billboard soundtrack charts. In 2023 Republic Records: Kids & Family and Nickelodeon released the long-awaited “Avatar: The Last Airbender – Book 1: Water (Music from the Animated Series)” score on digital and vinyl. The album features an updated and re-recorded score from the first season of the iconic series. Outside of his work with Nickelodeon, Zuckerman has written a series of chamber pieces for the Echo Society, of which he is a founding member. Jeremy has also worked with the modern dance choreographer Benjamin Levy on ‘Everyone Intimate Alone Visibly’. Zuckerman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the Berklee College of Music where he studied Jazz theory and was taught computer music by Richard Boulanger. He continued his education at the California Institute of the Arts where he studied privately with electronic music pioneer Morton Subotnick, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in new media composition. Zuckerman has also served as a lecturer at California Institute of Arts, Berklee, and Dartmouth, on topics including composing for film and tv, traditional Chinese instrumentation, and sonic art. Jeremy is based in Los Angeles where he lives with his wife and two kids

Emily has worked as the Associate Conductor/Keyboardist of The Who and has performed at iconic venues all over the world such as Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl, The O2, Royal Albert Hall, New Orleans Jazz Fest and many more. Recent touring credits include: The Who Hits Back (North America/Europe), Josh Groban’s Harmony Tour & Vegas Residency, Conductor/Music Director of the Live In Concert tours of *Naruto*, *Avatar: The Last Airbender* (1st National tour), *Demon Slayer, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse* and *Our Planet.* Her Broadway credits include: Music Director/Vocal Arranger of Be More Chill; Jagged Little Pill, Head Over Heels, Elf, Ain’t Too Proud, Beautiful, School of Rock, Mean Girls, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Waitress, Annie. **Heidi Joosten, Music Director and Associate Conductor**\
Heidi Joosten  is a Jeff-Award winning music director, composer, orchestrator, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and teacher. Since 2014, she has collaborated on over 125 new theatrical, comedic, and concert productions in Chicago and across the nation.
