Ready to return to where it all began? In honor of its two-decade legacy, Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert–The 20th Anniversary Tour returns with a reimagined experience for fans old and new.

This concert will take fans on a journey through the legendary story they love, as it unfolds on a full-size cinema screen—guided by the series’ incredible music composed by Emmy® Award-winner Jeremy Zuckerman, with visual storytelling shaped in collaboration with original series editor Jeff Adams.

The 20th Anniversary Tour isn’t just a replay. It’s a reimagined, recharged experience packed with newly expanded musical highlights and never-before-seen visual moments, created just for this tour.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a newly anointed bender, this tour is a one-of-a-kind tribute to Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, Appa and the epic story that still leaves us breathless.

WHO'S WHO

Jeremy Zuckerman
Jeremy Zuckerman is an Emmy Award-winning composer and musician whose diverse body of work includes music for film, television and dance, traditional Chinese music, sonic art, and concert music. Jeremy is best known for composing the music for the globally beloved Nickelodeon series Avatar: the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. His unique scores have earned numerous accolades including two Emmy Award wins and several nominations. Upon the 2013 release of The Legend of Korra soundtrack (via the Sony Legacy label) it immediately hit #1 on Amazon Music, and quickly landed in the top 10 on both the iTunes and the Billboard soundtrack charts. In 2023 Republic Records: Kids & Family and Nickelodeon released the long-awaited “Avatar: The Last Airbender – Book 1: Water (Music from the Animated Series)” score on digital and vinyl. The album features an updated and re-recorded score from the first season of the iconic series. Outside of his work with Nickelodeon, Zuckerman has written a series of chamber pieces for the Echo Society, of which he is a founding member. Jeremy has also worked with the modern dance choreographer Benjamin Levy on ‘Everyone Intimate Alone Visibly’. Zuckerman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the Berklee College of Music where he studied Jazz theory and was taught computer music by Richard Boulanger. He continued his education at the California Institute of the Arts where he studied privately with electronic music pioneer Morton Subotnick, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in new media composition. Zuckerman has also served as a lecturer at California Institute of Arts, Berklee, and Dartmouth, on topics including composing for film and tv, traditional Chinese instrumentation, and sonic art. Jeremy is based in Los Angeles where he lives with his wife and two kids

Emily Marshall, Music Director and Conductor
Emily has worked as the Associate Conductor/Keyboardist of The Who and has performed at iconic venues all over the world such as Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl, The O2, Royal Albert Hall, New Orleans Jazz Fest and many more. Recent touring credits include: The Who Hits Back (North America/Europe), Josh Groban’s Harmony Tour & Vegas Residency, Conductor/Music Director of the Live In Concert tours of Naruto, Avatar: The Last Airbender (1st National tour), Demon Slayer, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse and Our Planet. Her Broadway credits include: Music Director/Vocal Arranger of Be More Chill; Jagged Little Pill, Head Over Heels, Elf, Ain’t Too Proud, Beautiful, School of Rock, Mean Girls, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Waitress, Annie. Tours/ Benefits: Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical; 1st National Tour of We Will Rock You, A Chorus Line, Beauty And The Beast, Flashdance. As a proud member of the Recording Academy, Emily is featured on the Original Broadway Cast Album of Be More Chill & the Original Cast Album of Dave Malloy’s Preludes. Heidi Joosten, Music Director and Associate Conductor
Heidi Joosten is a Jeff-Award winning music director, composer, orchestrator, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and teacher. Since 2014, she has collaborated on over 125 new theatrical, comedic, and concert productions in Chicago and across the nation. Other national live-to-picture credits include The Witcher In Concert (Conductor, Music Preparation), Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert - 1st National tour (Assoc. Conductor), Naruto: The Symphonic Experience (Assoc. Conductor, Orchestrator, Score Supervisor, Music Preparation), Labyrinth in Concert (Orchestrator, Music Preparation), Barbie: Live In Concert at the Hollywood Bowl and Royal Albert Hall (Assoc. Conductor, Score Supervisor, Music Preparation), and Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse (Assoc. Conductor). Notable Chicago credits include Children of Eden (Broadway in Chicago, starring Destiny Child’s Michelle Williams), Assassins (Theo Ubique, 2024 Jeff Award for Music Direction), American Psycho (Kokandy Productions, Jeff Nomination), Beauty and the Beast (Chicago Shakespeare), Don’t Quit Your Daydream (The Second City, 111th Mainstage Revue), Grease (Drury Lane), and Alice By Heart (Kokandy Productions, Jeff Nomination & Midwest premiere). As a prolific classical & educational composer, Heidi’s award-winning music has been performed across the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Theatrical writing credits include The Bone Harp, Queer Eye: The Musical Parody (13-week run at The Second City), Micro, and Saint Hildegard.
