Run time is approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes with a 15 minute intermission.

Synopsis:

From a young age, living in the Lower East Side, Fanny Brice dreamed of making it big on the vaudeville stage. She would audition repeatedly, but they always ended in rejection. Her mother’s advice? You’re not pretty enough for the stage.

But the girl never gave up. Fanny performs a timid number, transforming it into an audience favorite. Her act attracts the attention of Nicky Arnstein, and the handsome gambler negotiates to get Fanny into the theatre. As more characters enter the scene and our star gains more and more notoriety, Fanny starts to seriously consider the balance between her love and pursuing her lifelong dreams.
