Unlimited Miles keeps one foot in the rich legacy of Miles Davis while the other reframes his music for today’s ears. Under the direction of former Miles Davis keyboardist John Beasley, this powerhouse sextet—Sean Jones, Mark Turner, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ben Williams, and Terreon Gully —unites six bold voices into a fearless, shape-shifting sound.
Rather than revisiting the past, Unlimited Miles channels Miles’s spirit of invention and boundless creativity. Through Beasley’s signature arrangements, the ensemble explores the arc of Davis’s chameleonic career, reimagining each decade with bold imagination. The result is legacy set in motion—unlimited in spirit and imagination.
Unlimited Miles is an album, concert film, and tour.
